Canvas is in the process of rolling out the New Quizzes tool, which will eventually completely replace the Classic Quizzes tool. They are working on improvements and tweaks as the tool is fully developed. We have turned on the New Quizzes option within our instance of Canvas, and we encourage you to start to test out the many new features available within the tool.
You can choose a Quiz Engine, Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes, when you create a new quiz in Canvas:
